So, each layout has a fixed size as it has to in order to fit the bars and the video, i.e. if you made the bottom bar smaller, there would be a blank space as you can’t make the video bigger or smaller without either cutting off a portion of it or having a blank space.
If you have any idea for another type of layout, let me know and I can likely add it.
If you are talking about the box around the subtitles themselves, you can drag the handles to make it as large or small as you want to. You just need to make sure it is big enough to fit all of your subtitles so they don’t get cut off (if the box is too small for them.)
