Waveform dissapears when I save/Make my video?

HelpdeskCategory: QuestionsWaveform dissapears when I save/Make my video?
Scott Taylor asked 3 years ago

HiI choose a waveform to create podcast style image with video playing the audio and I place the waveform in the centre of the 1:1 box.

When I click save and make, the waveform dissapears.

Then when I play the mp4 after downloading I notice the waveform has been moved to the very bottom of the box.

Can I not have it in the centre?

Appreciate the help.

Best thanks

Scott

@Scott Taylor Hi Scott. Yeah you should be able to place it where you want. Can you link me to the video editor in question or let me know which video layout it is you are working on so I can check it out?

Thanks!

Hi Craig thanks for replying so swiftly. I can’t upload the video on here. How do I share the link to you?

Craig Staff replied 3 years ago

@Scott Taylor Just go to the page where you edit the video on ClipScribe (edit subtitles, add the waveforms, etc.) and copy the link and paste it here. Or just tell me which one it is (the last one I clicked MAKE on or the one titled “Video 12345”) I just need to be able to ID it so I can see what is up with that specific video.
Thanks!

@Scott Taylor Hey Scott. Actually I might have figured out what was up. Can you MAKE again and see if it resolves the issue? If not, then go ahead and send me the link. BTY, also when you are on the editor, there is a little lifesaver icon by the SAVE and MAKE buttons you can use to submit a ticket which will send me a link to the exact video as well.
Thanks!

Ok Scott. Check it out now.

There does seem to be one more issue related to creating a new waveform I need to look into, but yours is showing up fine now. The only other thing is, the waveform you chose is for multiple channels, but your video only has 1 channel, so the waveform will look slightly different than what you see in the preview, but other than that, you look to be all set.

Let me know how else I can help and thanks for letting me know of this issue.

ok Scott. Pretty sure I fixed the other issue that was helping cause this problem for you which was at the waveform creation level. So, you should be good to go going forward. Thanks!!
