When I upload a video the audio skips, and loops.  Then of course that throws off the subtitle creation

Hi Brett,
I just downloaded your original video you uploaded and the skipping is in the original.

If you don’t find that to be the case, I would play the video in another video player locally to be sure. If it still isn’t the case, then it could have happened during upload, so I would upload again.

A few other tips. Looks like this is a .mov. It is a 1.6 GB file which is quite large for a 2 min. video. To save yourself some hassle, I would pre-compress it. If you are using iPhone, use iMovie for iPhone. I would bring it down to a 1920X1080 .mp4. The quality won’t be visibly challenged, but the file size will drop down to 200 MB or so.

Same if you are on Mac using iMovie. Use the High Mp4 setting (Not the highest quality .mov). You will drastically decrease file size and improve portability.

Also, your ClipScribe encodes will be much faster.

Let me know how else I can help.
