Hey Craig, I have seen a few others with the issue but did not see a resolution. Once downloaded, the color on my video (last 2) changes significantly. Goes from regular lighting and a darker blue, to super bright blue and contrasting colors. Photo attached shows difference. Please advise.

Hi Lauren,
So, this is actually an issue with your original video. There is an option on iPhones called HVEC which is a certain type of video codec that won’t play correctly on all devices which is why you get the color washout.
You will want to make sure you are shooting in 1080p or 4K that is not HVEC.
If you play our video back in Quicktime for example, the color should look correct, but anytime HVEC videos are played in a browser, because most browsers don’t support that type of video yet, they will look washed out.
So, the solution at the moment is to make sure you don’t shoot in that format.
A fix would be to re-encode that video and I could replace the original for you. I have found that iMovie can convert the video to the H.264 codec and fix the issue, so if you want to try that and send it to me I can replace it for you.
This is a rather new issue that has been popping up, so I am still trying to figure out how to handle it on our end.
If you don’t have iMovie let me know and I can make another suggestion.
Thanks!
Craig
