Do I need the separate SRT file if I’ve used ClipScribe to insert subtitles?

I’m uploading my projects to YouTube after generating subtitles in ClipScribe. Is there any point to saving the SRT file separately, or is that data already embedded in the video file? In other words, do I need to do anything other than upload the video with captions to have the text show up in Google searches?

Hi Todd.
No, for YouTube, we are not presently embedding the SRT file into the video itself, although I do plan on adding that as an option this month.
So, for now, you would need to upload it separately.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!
