Hey Dominic. They display upper case as default, but there are two places you can switch this:
1. On the subtitle design bar, (where you change font size, font style, color, etc. there is a icon that looks like this: Aa where you can change case.
2. At the top of the subtitle editor window, there is a drop down menu and you can choose to change case there as well.
