what is the best format to upload videos so they are seen on full screen computer and full screen on mobile if uploaded to vimeo? I uploaded a few videos that only show a square video but I selected the 16:9 option when I did the video and also when I uploaded it to your program.

Hey Tyson. Really only the social networks allow you to upload videos in various sizes beyond standard HD. So if you're just wanting to go to YouTube or Vimeo you just need to choose the plane HD video size without any gray bars on it.

there is a plain square option as well but you want to avoid that also because they don't except Square videos at YouTube and Vimeo. If you're uploading anywhere else all the other options should work fine.
