My browser displayed the making of my first video and it seemed to have frozen.
when I click to save it again a status came up from the browser saying.
Something to the effect that if I click away it would stop the rendering, so of course, I didn’t do that.
But then another browser status messages cam up regarding doing something. so I clicked away becuase the rendering status bar froze.

When I went back to my interface I clicked the plus symbol as it was the only thing clickable.
I’ve now lost all the cation edits, very frustrating.

Have I been thick and done the wrong thing, is there any way of getting the work back?
I was just going to cancel my subscription with the 7 days money-back guarantee because I was so annoyed/wasted time but it’s only fair to give feedback before doing so.

Sorry for the vexed tone, but its really frustrating.
Please help.

Hi Nigel,
Man, I am very sorry for whatever happened here.  No worries on any vexed tone.  I get it and I totally understand your frustration.

I can’t quite sort out what happened.  Basically any time you click SAVE or MAKE, it saves the subtitles.
So, that is partially why I am confused as they would have been saved when you clicked MAKE to make the video which would bring up the progress bar.
I haven’t seen this happen before.  I did run an update last night around 11PM?  But that would have been around 5AM your time.  Any chance you were working on it around then?

That’s the only thing I can think of.

Or is there a chance you had 2 browser windows opened and went to the one you hadn’t changed yet and saved it?

Again, just trying to sort out how this could have happened.

So, while I can say that it isn’t a regular occurrence, (in fact, this is the first time it’s been reported) I don’t have a backup of what you worked on.
It’s something to think about though, now that you have reported this.

So, unfortunately, I don’t have any good news about your lost work.
All I can say is:

  1.  I am totally happy to give you a refund.  I will do whatever I can to help out.
  2. I do, however, think this was just a weird situation where the stars aligned in the wrong way.  While I hate you would have to re-edit your subtitles, I don’t believe you will continue to have this issue.

Let me know what I can do for you.
Craig
