Hey there!
I’m new to this program, and am trying to learn it, so I can swap to using this program for my captioning needs! The previous program I was using allowed me to see the "Blocks" of subtitles, and where they lay in the video, and I could adjust those block themselves, rather than trying to figure out the time, and entering the time code for each segment. Does this program have something like that/plan to impliment it? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Hi Conner,
You can see your subtitle blocks under the CC tab in the editor. You can then either turn off blocks using the eyeball icon. This will basically completely edit them out and they won’t show up in your final video.
You can edit the text in the blocks several ways by either selecting text within them or putting your cursor between the text to split the text and either merge it with the block below or create an entirely new block below (or above) with the selected text.
The timings of the text blocks are adjusted by the up and down arrows which transfer time from one block to another. So, if you need to tighten up or adjust the timing, use those. But, do note that when you use the split tool, it automatically adjusts the timing for you as well, so that can be an easy way to do it also.

Your subtitles should be accurately timed from the get-go. If they are not, then there is likely an issue with the video itself (audio, etc.) so let me know if you find that to be the case so I can comment. Feel free to email me anytime at craigl@clipscribe.com.
