Possible to add subtitles with no banners?

Hi, is it possible to remove the thick banners from above and below the video and simply have captions across the foot of the video? Thanks

Sure thing Kevin. You just need to choose a layout without bars. When you click the plus sign to choose a layout or template, choose the layout at the top without any bars on it.
