Adding subtitle blocks?

How do you add a subtitle block. Once the video is done it would be nice to add a message, so I thought I’d add one more block at the end of the video to write a non-subtitled line like “thanks for watching.”
Or in general how do you edit the timeline?

I am adding a module very soon that will give you more control over this.
