Hi Steve! Should never take that long. However, just FYI things that can make your video take reasonably longer than usual:
1. Your video is very large (i.e. over 1GB.) Highly recommend uploading compressed videos or at least moderately compressed MP4 files.
2. You choose the HIGH quality setting. This should be used WITH CARE. It can make your encodes take 4-8 times longer.
3. Your video is long. ClipScribe is made ideally for videos 3-5 minutes long. If your video is 30 mins to an hour you can expect much longer render times.
BUT, never 24 hours.
In this case, we had some server issues yesterday that I am quite sure are the culprit. We upgraded the server last night, so I would just click MAKE again. (Which I already did for you and it is in process.
Thanks for writing in and let me know how else I can help.
